Seeking a Consultant for BCC/LLIN Materials Round-Up
in Senegal

Background
NetWorks Senegal began operations in early 2010, works closely with Senegal’s National Malaria Control Program (NMCP) and partners to design, implement and evaluate the national universal coverage (UC) campaign through mass distributions of long-lasting insecticide treated nets (LLINs). NetWorks Senegal collaborates with a broad range of partners including government and local leaders, imams (Islamic leaders), schools, medical professionals, community volunteers, non-government organizations such as Ademas, IntraHealth, CRS and Peace Corps volunteers. In an attempt to capture what Behavior Change Communication (BCC) for malaria prevention has been done and to tell a story of successes and lessons learned, NetWorks would like to collect and compile all of the existing BCC and LLIN documents, materials and tools and make them accessible to interested implementers.
Scope of assignment
Collect Behavior Change Communication (BCC) documents and tools as well as documents, materials and tools from the LLIN universal coverage campaign in Senegal. The consultant will liaise with different partners to collect these documents/tools, write short descriptions and download them to a central location for dissemination. Sites for dissemination may include NetWorks website, HealthCompass, COMMINIT, RBM, Senegal NMCP and others.
Deliverable and Timeline
Develop an inventory list of all BCC documents, materials and tools used for the LLIN universal coverage campaigns and continuous distribution campaigns including ANC and EPI distribution. This list will include the name of document, material or tool, where it came from, a description of how and when it was used and the contact information for further inquiry. All materials will be collected, organized and submitted no later than June 6th, 2014. We expect this scope of work will take no longer than 15 days to complete.
Specific tasks include:
· Work with the National Malaria Control Program to identify partners
· Visit relevant malaria partners in Senegal to collect BCC documents, materials and tools that already exists in Senegal
· Assist with the process of getting the necessary documents translated
· Organize and upload all documents to a dropbox account as well as other sites for dissemination per NetWorks guidance
Requirements for Applicants
· Applicants must have experience working in Senegal
· Applicants must have speak French, local language is a plus
· Applicant must be able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
