Background

NetWorks Senegal began operations in early 2010, works closely with Senegal’s National Malaria Control Program (NMCP) and partners to design, implement and evaluate the national universal coverage (UC) campaign through mass distributions of long-lasting insecticide treated nets (LLINs). NetWorks Senegal collaborates with a broad range of partners including government and local leaders, imams (Islamic leaders), schools, medical professionals, community volunteers, non-government organizations such as Ademas, IntraHealth, CRS and Peace Corps volunteers. In an attempt to capture what Behavior Change Communication (BCC) for malaria prevention has been done and to tell a story of successes and lessons learned, NetWorks would like to collect and compile all of the existing BCC and LLIN documents, materials and tools and make them accessible to interested implementers.
